TWO MORE VICTIMS MH17 IDENTIFIED

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Wee Ka Siong today confirmed that two more victims of the Malaysia Airlines MH17 tragedy have been identified last night, bringing the total number of those identified to 28 so far.

The two victims, he said were a man and a child. However, he did not disclose their identities.

Meanwhile, the remains of three non-Muslim Malaysian victims were brought from the Monuta Innemee funeral home to a private crematorium in Zoetermeer, about 26km from here, after prayers were conducted for them.

The victims' family members escorted the remains all the way to the crematorium.

A total of 22 bodies are expected to be flown to Kuala Lumpur on Aug 21, to coincide with the national day of mourning in Malaysia.

Eighteen will be in caskets while four cremated remains will be in urns.
