Mesyuarat Jawatankuasa Koordinasi Istiadat Penghormatan Jenazah Tragedi MH17 yang berlangsung sebentar tadi telah mengesahkan bahawa 9 lagi jenazah magsa Tragedi MH17 akan di bawa pulang esok, persiapan telah di lakukan secara rapi dan kerajaan bersedia untuk menyambutnya pada hari esok.

9 jenazah ini melibatkan 7 warganegara Malaysia dan 2 Belanda, dari 7 jenazah warga Malaysia itu, 2 bukan adalah beragama Islam manakala 5 bukan beragama Islam serta melibatkan 3 penumpang dan 4 anak kapal, sementara 2 jenazah yang bukan warganegara Malaysia adalah bukan beragama Islam

Daripada 9 jenazah ini, 5 jenazah akan diterima dalam keranda dan 4 jenazah lagi akan di bawa dalam bekas abu.

Sekiranya semua berjalan lancar untuk menerima 9 jenazah itu esok, jumlah jenazah yang telah kerajaan membawa pulang dari Belanda adalah 31.

Sebagai penghormatan negara, YAB Perdana Menteri serta Menteri-Menteri Kabinet akan hadir memberi penghormatan terakhir kepada jenazah esok.

Oleh itu marilah kita seluruh rakyat Malaysia bersama-sama berdoa supaya magsa nahas MH17 yang masih belum di temui di permudahkan Allah dan pasukan penyiasat dan pihak keselamatan Malaysia kembali dibenarkan memasuki semula Ukraine untuk menyelesaikan tugas-tugas yang belum selesai.

Dalam menangani tragedi ini, Kerajaan Malaysia konsisten bahawa pihak yang bertanggungjawab menembak jatuh pesawat MH17 harus dibawa ke muka pengadilan dan seterusnya menerima hukuman yang setimpal keatas jenayah pembunuhan yang mereka lakukan.

Turut hadir dalam mesyuarat itu ialah, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein Menteri Pertahanan, Dato Sri' Rohani Abdul Karim Menteri Pembagunan Wanita Keluarga dan Masyarakat dan Dato Sri' Liow Tiong Lai Menteri Pengangkutan.

Nine hours after her mother’s remains arrived in Malaysia, Nur Diyana Yazeera tweeted a photograph of herself standing next to the casket, saying “I’m gonna miss you mummy”.

Diyana, an only child, is the 15-year-old daughter of MH17 chief stewardess Dora Shahila Kassim, 47.

Earlier, she had posted in the morning that her family members were travelling in two cars to the airport to receive the remains.

When the body arrived, she tweeted: “Mummy is here. She’s finally here.”

The previous day, Diyana voiced her anxiety about the day of mourning.

“I’m excited for tomorrow. I’m sad for tomorrow,” she tweeted on Thursday.

“Don’t worry mummy. I’ll be waiting for you tomorrow. I’ll bring you home, okay?” she said.

Dora Shahila’s remains were laid to rest at the Bukit Kiara cemetery yesterday.

“Alhamdulillah, we can now have closure,” said her brother Don Kassim, 48.

“It was a long and painful journey. We’re so thankful to the Prime Minister and the Government for doing their best,” he told reporters.

He also thanked Malaysia Airlines for their hard work, saying he was touched by the outpouring of solidarity.

Dora Shahila’s grave was heaped with flowers.

A young relative was seen leaving the tent in tears, his entire body trembling.

Another relative was heard saying that “the drive from home to the airport was the longest drive I’ve ever experienced.”

Also present were her colleagues, who were dressed in MAS uniform.

One of the flight stewardesses said she came straight from the airport following the ceremony to pay her respects.

Jenazah Allayarhamah Ariza Ghazalee (Ibu) dan Allahyarham Muhammad Afif Tambi, dua beranak yang menjadi mangsa tragedi MH17 selamat dikebumikan dalam satu liang lahad di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Semariang di sini lebih kurang jam 5:05 petang tadi.

Ibu Ariza, Jamilah Noriah Abang Anuar,72, tidak dapat menahan sebak ketika mendahului upacara menyiram air mawar pada kubur anak dan cucunya sebelum di ikuti oleh ahli keluarga yang lain.

Ariza , 46, dan anak sulungnya Muhammad Afif, 19, adalah antara 20 jenazah mangsa tragedi pesawat Penerbangan Malaysia (MAS) Penerbangan MH17 yang tiba di Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa KL di Sepang dari Amsterdam pagi tadi.

Jenazah mereka kemudian dibawa pesawat Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) Pesawat C-130 Hercules yang berlepas dari Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur (KLIA) kira-kira pukul 11.25 pagi tiba tepat jam 2.17 petang di Pengkalan TUDM Kuching. 

Dua menteri yang mengiringi jenazah tersebut ialah Menteri Wanita, Keluarga dan Pembangunan Masyarakat Dato' Sri Hajah Rohani Karim dan Menteri Kerja Raya Datuk Haji Fadillah Yusof mereka turut berada di dalam pesawat yang membawa jenazah itu.

Dari pangkalan TUDM Kuching, jenazah mereka dibawa sebuah van ke Masjid Jamek Petra Jaya di mana kira-kira 1,000 orang menunggu di masjid, jenazah tiba pada 3.25 petang dengan diiringi pasukan polis pengiring.

Turut menunggu ketibaan jenazah mereka di Masjid Jamek ialah Tuan Yang Terutama Negeri Sarawak Tun Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud, Ketua Menteri Tan Sri Datuk Amar Haji Adenan Satem serta menteri-menteri dan menteri muda kabinet negeri.

Dua jenazah itu kemudian ditempatkan di hadapan ruang solat sebelum Imam Besar Masjid Jamek Petrajaya Datuk Joji Suhaili memimpin bacaan Yaasin mengimamkan Majlis Solat Jenazah.

Selepas itu, jenazah mereka telah dibawa ke Tanah Perkuburan Islam Samariang untuk majlis pengebumian yang di hadiri kira-kira 5,000 orang pada jam 4:50 petang.

Allahyarhmah Ariza bersama suaminya Tambi Jiee, 49, dan semua anak mereka; Muhammad Afif, Muhammad Afzal, 17, Marsha Azmeena, 15 dan Muhammad Afruz, 13 terkorban dalam tragedi pada 17 Julai lepas.

Sehingga hari ini, hanya mayat dua anak beranak dari keluarga tersebut telah di kenalpasti dan selebihnya masih didalam proses pengecaman identiti dan DNA di Belanda.

Md Salim Sarmo, 65, the father of MH17 victim Mohd Ali, said he and the family cannot wait to kiss his son, whose remains are expected to arrive by helicopter at the Pagoh National Skills Training Institute (IKBN) mini stadium, near here, today afternoon.

When met by reporters at his home in Kampung Jayor, Pagoh, he said he was happy and grateful to hear that his son’s body was almost intact when it was prepared in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

“We accept whatever condition Mohd Ali’s body is in, but I was told by his friends in the Netherlands who helped prepare the bodies, that his body was the most complete.

“They said it was complete and his hands were also soft when they bathed his body. We are relieved and thankful for being given the chance to see his face one last time,” he said.

Mohd Ali, who was a Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) lecturer candidate, was doing his doctorate in Development Neuropsychopathology at the Erasmus Universitiet Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Md Salim said the family was allowed to see Mohd Ali’s face, but prohibited from taking his photo to avoid from it being manipulated for ill purposes.

He and the family left for Kuala Lumpur at 4pm today to receive the remains tomorrow (today) after which they will accompany it back by helicopter to IKBN Pagoh.

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who is also Pagoh MP and Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin are among those who will welcome Mohd Ali’s remains at the IKBN.

Mohd Ali will be buried next to his granduncle, Jawat Suradi, who died at the age of 93 and the two had shared a close relationship.

“Each time he comes back to Malaysia, Mohd Ali will definitely visit his granduncle and last Aidilfitri both of them took a photo together. I didn’t expect both of them to be buried side by side,” he said.

Md Salim, who has eight children, conveyed his appreciation to everyone involved in bringing his son’s remains home especially Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Razak, Muhyiddin, the Malaysian government, Malaysia Airlines and the Malaysian Embassy in the Netherlands.

Twenty-eight of the 43 Malaysian victims of the Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Flight MH17 tragedy have been identified up to today, said Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein.

He said 15 of them were passengers and 13, crew. Fourteen of the 28 were Muslims and the other 14, non-Muslims.

"I can confirm that on Friday, the remains of 15 (Malaysians) and one (Dutch national) will be brought home (to Malaysia). Most probably, more remains may be brought back, and this will be confirmed tomorrow,"

Keluarga Tambi Jiee tetap redha walau bagaimanapun rupa bentuk keadaan mayat Allahyarham dan anggota keluarganya yang bakal mereka terima kelak.

"Kami berdoa agar walau sekecil dan sebesar mana pun (mayat), dapat dijumpai. Kalau dapat semua Alhamdulillah," kata Drahman, abang sulung kepada Tambi, antara mangsa nahas pesawat Malaysia Airlines (MAS) MH17 yang terhempas di Ukraine pada 17 Julai.

Turut terkorban ialah isteri Tambi, Ariza Ghazalee, 46, dan empat orang anak mereka Muhammad Afif, 19, Muhammad Afzal, 17, Marsha Azmeena, 15, dan Muhammad Afruz, 13,

"Saya telah mendapatkan maklumat dari Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia yang  menurut mereka, kalau mayat dijumpai walau sekecil mana pun, perlu dimandikan. Kalau tidak boleh dimandi, ditayammum dan dikapan," katanya kepada pemberita pada majlis Rumah Terbuka Jalinan Kasih Aidilfitri anjuran Kementerian Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat (KPWKM) di sini hari ini.

Majlis sambutan turut dihadiri Ketua Menteri Sarawak Tan Sri Adenan Satem dan isteri Puan Sri Jamilah Anu.

Turut hadir Menteri KPWKM, Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim.

Majlis bertujuan mengukuhkan jalinan kasih antara warga kementerian, jabatan dan agensi dengan kumpulan sasar terutamanya golongan remaja yang bermasalah dari segi sosial dan akhlak.

Pada majlis itu, Adenan dan isteri turut meluangkan masa bertanya khabar dengan waris keluarga Ariza dan Tambi.

Drahman turut mengucapkan penghargaan kepada seluruh rakyat Malaysia yang turut memberi perhatian dan sokongan kepada mereka sekeluarga berikutan nahas itu.

Dalam sidang media selepas majlis berkenaan, Rohani memaklumkan, waris pasangan suami isteri Tambi Jiee dan Ariza Ghazalee, serta empat anak mereka yang terkorban dalam nahas pesawat Malaysia Airlines (MAS) MH17 mahu mereka dikebumikan di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Semariang, dekat sini.

Katanya, perkara tersebut disampaikan kepada beliau, selepas menemui waris keluarga pasangan tersebut.

"Waris keluarga pasangan itu juga ada membuat beberapa permohonan lain seperti meminta keranda jenazah tidak di 'seal', serta waris dibawa ke Amsterdam, Belanda untuk membantu proses pengecaman.

"Dan paling utama waris keluarga meminta jika sudah ditemui walau sedikit pun mayat bersesuaian dengan sampel DNA keluarga pasangan itu, mereka memohon supaya segera dimaklumkan," katanya.

Sementara itu, Rohani berkata, sebuah lagi keluarga mangsa nahas MH17, Meling Mula, 48, belum memutuskan dimana mayat mendiang akan dikebumikan.

Meling seorang pemasang perancah sebuah syarikat minyak dan gas yang berpangkalan di Kuala Lumpur, bertugas di Venezuela.

The Malaysian team investigating the crash of the Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Flight MH17 aircraft at a site in Torez, eastern Ukraine has submitted its reports to the Dutch authorities heading the investigation.

MAS director of engineering and maintenance Azhari Mohd Dahlan, 53, who is one of three Malaysians conducting investigations into the crash in the Donetsk region, told Bernama: "We are relieved. All the investigation reports have been given to the Dutch as they head the investigation," he said this upon arrival in Kiev, about 800km from Torez by train this morning.

He, however, did not want to comment further on the four-day investigation carried out by him and the other two Malaysian investigators comprising Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) Senior Assistant Director Captain Philip Joseph Selvaraju, 42, who is a former pilot, and DCA Senior Assistant Director Mohd Naemy Fahmy Mustapa, 38.

The Boeing 777-200 aircraft carrying 298 people – 283 passengers and 15 crew – was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when it went down in Donetsk near the Russian border on July 17.

Foreign media reported that the aircraft was shot down but until today, no one has claimed responsibility for the incident.

Azhari and the 133 Malaysian special team members, led by Khairil Hilmi Mokhtar, who is also National Security Council (MKN) Cross Border Management Division principal assistant secretary, were scheduled to depart for Kuala Lumpur Friday noon (local time).

Meanwhile according to MKN, a total of 60 bodies of those on board Flight MH17 will be flown to the Netherlands.

Until yesterday, a total of 114 bodies had been flown to the Netherlands, it said.

MH17: MALAYSIA "SECURELY" HOLD BLACK BOXES

Malaysia said Tuesday it would "securely" hold the black boxes of crashed flight MH17 before handing them over to an international investigation team, to be led by the Netherlands.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has ordered his troops not to conduct any military action within a 40km radius of the MH17 crash site.

Although he did not elaborate, it is understood this is to try to ensure a safe zone around the crash site so that anyone who manages to enter the area would have some measure of safety despite the government not being able to agree to a safe corridor with separatists.

Poroshenko said the MH17 tragedy involved three crimes -- the terrorist act of shooting down a civilian aircraft; the way the remains of the victims were handled; and, destruction of evidence and not letting international rescuers and investigators into the area.

Speaking to reporters after signing a condolence book at the Malaysian embassy here, he called on the global community to declare the Donetsk People's Republic an international terrorist organisation, saying it was no more merely a Ukrainian issue. NST

There are 193 people from the Netherlands (including 1 dual Netherlands/United States citizen), Malaysia (43 people, including 15 crew and two infants), Australia (27), Indonesia (12, including an infant), United Kingdom (10, including one dual UK/South Africa citizen), Germany (four), Belgium (four), the Philipines (three), Canada (one), New Zealand (one).

In its latest media statement today, the airline said despite efforts made in the past 45 hours with the assistance of various foreign embassies to establish contact with the next-of-kin of the passengers, it was still unable to identify many more family members.

Malaysia Airlines flight stewardess Angeline Premila Rajandran, 30, loved flying and travelling so much that she joined the company at 20 and never looked back.

"It was her first and only job," said Murphy Govind, 29, of his older sister, who was working as a flight attendant on the Amsterdam-Kuala Lumpur MH17 flight when it was shot down over the Ukraine-Russian border early Friday morning.

"She loved travelling and loved what she was doing. We were all so happy for her, the whole family, that she'd got the job she wanted just out of university."

Angeline, described as a bubbly, outgoing person who had lots of friends and was very close with her family, often graced the airline's in-flight magazines as a model and would promote the company at events.

Often away from her two younger brothers and parents, who live in Klang, a city one hour southwest of the capital Kuala Lumpur, Angeline would keep in touch through social networking apps like WhatsApp, where the whole family would talk together in "group chats".

"There was only one year difference between us so we grew up literally together – the same nursery, the same kindergarten, and we had many mutual friends," said Murphy. "Probably we drifted apart when we started working because we had different work lives – she was always travelling and I was here in Malaysia, but I know we were still close."

The family grew worried about Angeline's safety a few months ago, after flight MH370 disappeared from radar screens without a trace 8 March, and told their only daughter as much.

"She was worried too, of course she was worried," added Murphy, who works in the family's manufacturing business. "But she loved her job and never complained."

Angeline had flown to Amsterdam many times before and would usually return home after her international flights by shuttle bus – so the family was surprised to receive a late-night phone call indicating that something was wrong. "My father got a call at about 4am saying my sister was confirmed on the [MH17] flight but that the flight hadn't landed yet. But that flight should have landed at 6am," said Murphy, saying his family was confused by the information shared with them.

It was only later, when a friend who also works for Malaysia Airlines called to confirm that Angeline was on the crew list, that the family understood the plane had crashed.

"Her last message to us was a message to my brother, [saying] 'Please look after my dog,'" a newly-adopted four-month old beagle named Lexi.

Murphy is silent as the beagle barks in the background. "She was taken away from us and we hope she is in good hands," he said slowly of his sister, the only time during our conversation that he spoke of her in the past tense.

"I don't know how to say this, we just hope that she's happy. Our main priority is just to bring her back to Malaysia, bring her back home – that's what we wish for."

KANGAR. The people are reminded to put aside any elements that can jeopardise solidarity in facing the tragedy following the Malaysia Airlines (MAS) MH17 tragedy that killed 298 people in Ukraine, on Thursday.

The Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail said the incident was a national tragedy that transcended the religious, racial and political boundaries.

"Thus, the people must put aside all elements that affect our togetherness as Malaysian citizens in facing such a situation," he said.

Tuanku Syed Faizuddin said this at an event to sign the condolence card following the flight MH17 tragedy and the handing over of contributions to the Gaza Humanitarian Fund at a breaking of the fast at Wisma TNB Kangar last night.

China’s president Xi Jinping has called for a “fair and objective” investigation into the MH17 disaster.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Argentinian president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner late on Friday, during his visit to Buenos Aires, he said he had been shocked by news of the crash and conveyed his deep condolences to victims’ families.

He added: "I hope that a fair and objective probe will be carried out to establish the truth as early as possible.”

While the US, UK and others have said that the plane was probably downed by a surface-to-air-missile from a separatist-held area, China has avoided discussing the issue of responsibility.

State media said that China’s UN envoy Liu Jieyi told Friday’s Security Council meeting: "Our priority now is to establish facts. Pending that, it is not advisable to jump to any conclusion, make any assumptions or trade accusations. We support conducting an independent, just and objective investigation of the incident.

"We also call upon all the parties to offer coordination and cooperation in the process of the investigation.”

China and Russia frequently vote together at the UN security council - vetoing sanctions against Syria, for example - regarding each other as the P5 member which whom they have most in common. In other cases, they have chosen neither to support nor reject the other’s position; when Russia vetoed a resolution declaring the referendum on Crimean secession illegal this spring, China abstained.

Russia Today's Spanish correspondent, Francisco Guaita at the crash scene in Donetsk region says the situation on the ground is "very complicated," with aircraft parts spread around. Guaita says that after talking to firefighters, no bodies were found by them, but they said the death toll was close to 300 people.

The video, shot by cameraman LifeNews, seen multiple dead bodies, their documents and personal belongings.

"Boeing 777" airline Malaysia Airlines crashed in Ukraine a few dozen kilometers from the border with Russia. On board, according to preliminary data, there were 280 passengers and 15 crew members.

Among those on board were 154 Dutch, 27 Australians, 23 Malaysians, 11 Indonesians, 6 Britian, 4 Germans, 4 Belgians, 3 from the Philippines and 1 Canadian and other nationalities yet to be confirmed.

Dozens of bodies were scattered around the smouldering wreckage of a passenger jet that crashed in a field in eastern Ukraine on Thursday, a Reuters reporter said.

An emergency services rescue worker said at least 100 bodies had so far been found at the scene, near the village of Grabovo, and that debris from the wreckage was spread across an area up to about 15 km (nine miles) in diameter.

Broken pieces of the wings were marked with blue and red paint - the same colours as the emblem of the Malaysian airline which lost track of a Boeing 777 en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur that was carrying almost 300 people.

"I was working in the field on my tractor when I heard the sound of a plane and then a bang and shots. Then I saw the plane hit the ground and break in two. There was thick black smoke," said a witness, who gave his name only as Vladimir.

A separatist rebel from nearby Krasnyi Luch who gave his name only as Sergei said: "From my balcony I saw a plane begin to descend from a great height and then heard two explosions.

He denied the rebels had shot the plane down.

"This could happen only if it was a fighter jet or a surface-to-air missile (that shot it down)," he told Reuters, saying the rebels did not have weapons capable of shooting shoot down a plane at such a height.

All 295 people aboard the plane were killed, a Ukrainian interior ministry official said, blaming "terrorists" using a ground-to-air missile.

Malaysian Airlines MH17 plane was travelling almost the same route as Russia’s President Vladimir Putin’s jet shortly before the crash that killed 295, Interfax news agency reports citing sources.

“I can say that Putin’s plane and the Malaysian Boeing intersected at the same point and the same echelon. That was close to Warsaw on 330-m echelon at the height of 10,100 meters. The presidential jet was there at 16:21 Moscow time and the Malaysian aircraft - 15:44 Moscow time,” a source told the news agency on condition of anonymity.

"The contours of the aircrafts are similar, linear dimensions are also very similar, as for the coloring, at a quite remote distance they are almost identical", the source added.

President Putin was on his way from Brazil, where he attended the BRICS summit, to Moscow.

Flight MH17 crashed in Ukraine on a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpar, and was carrying 295 people.

The passenger Boeing-777 was expected to enter Russian airspace at 5:20pm local time, but never did, a Russian aviation industry source was cited by Reuters.

“The plane crashed 60km away from the border, the plane had an emergency beacon,” ITAR-TASS cited its source.

A Malaysia Airlines passenger jet which crashed as it flew over eastern Ukraine with 295 people on board was reportedly shot down.

The aircraft, which was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, was travelling at an altitude of 10,000 metres when it was shot down on Thursday, Russia's Interfax reported.

An adviser to the Ukrainian interior ministry told the news agency the Boeing 777 was brought down by a Buk ground-to-air missile.

Photos shared on Twitter reportedly showed debris from Flight MH17 [Nadezhda Chernetskaya/ VKontakte] Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko denied his armed forces were involved in the downing of the airliner.

"Armed Forces of Ukraine did not take action against any airborne targets," Poroshenko said.

Malaysian Airlines confirmed it had lost contact with flight MH17 from Amsterdam, saying the aircraft was carrying 280 passengers and 15 crew. 

None are believed to have survived the crash.

A similar launcher was seen by Associated Press journalists near the eastern Ukrainian town of Snizhne earlier Thursday.The airline's press office and its Twitter account confirmed that it lost contact with the plane, a Boeing 777, which departed from Amsterdam at 12:30 p.m. local time according to Flight Aware.

The aircraft's last known position was over Ukrainian airspace. It was scheduled to land at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 5:50 a.m. Malaysian time.Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise said that it has launched an investigation into the crash, according to the Russian media service Interfax."A meeting is currently being held on this regard in the Ukrainian State Aviation Service and investigation has been started,"
