PMB INVESTMENT BHD DECLARE INCOME DISTRIBUTIONS FOR 3 FUNDS.


PMB Investment Berhad, a member of Pelaburan MARA Berhad group, has declared income distributions for 3 of its funds – PMB Shariah Growth Fund (PMB SGF) for the financial year ended 28 February 2015 and monthly income distributions for 2 money market funds, PMB Shariah Wholesale Income Fund 1 (PMB SWIF1) and PMB Shariah Cash Management Fund (PMB SCMF).

PMB SGF declared a 5.00 sen nett income distribution in the form of units, representing a yield of 3.82% over the Fund’s NAV a year ago.  Its net asset value (NAV) per unit rose to RM1.3616 (cum-income distribution) on 28 February 2015 from RM1.3086 on 15 February 2014 (ex-income distribution). After the distribution, the ex-income distribution NAV per unit for the Fund was adjusted to RM1.3116. The fund had its financial year-end changed to 28 February from 15 February.

PMB SWIF1 declared an income distribution of 0.2722 sen nett, in the form of units for February.

As for PMB SCMF, it declared an income distribution of 0.1 sen nett, in the form of units for February. After the distribution, the ex-income distribution NAV per unit for the Fund was adjusted to RM0.5058.

All unit holders of the three Funds on the register at the close of 28 February 2015 were entitled to the distribution in the form of new units.

PMB SGF is a Shariah-compliant equity growth fund with investments in equity, suitable for investors with high risk tolerance level with a medium to long term investment horizon.

PMB SWIF1 is a wholesale money market fund for qualified investors with its NAV per unit maintained at RM1 while PMB SCMF is a money market unit trust fund for general investors with a floating NAV per unit. Both are money market funds with regular income stream suitable for institution, corporate and individual investors that look for alternative deposit placements with tax incentive and consistent level of returns.
