Permatang Pauh Umno division secretary, Suhaimi Sabudin was Thursday named as the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for the Permatang Pauh Parliamentary by-election.
BN deputy chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin made the announcement at a ceremony to announce the candidate here.
Suhaimi, 43, from Guar Jering is a managing director at a construction company and also the former Guar Jering Umno Youth deputy chief.
The father of four received his early education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Guar Perahu and Sekolah Menengah Penanti, Permatang Pauh before furthering his studies at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in Penang.
He holds a bachelor degree in Housing, Building and Planning from USM.
