SARAWAK STATE ASSEMBLY DISSOLVED APRIL 11

Leaders and members from the state Barisan Nasional (BN) friendly party, the United People's Party (UPP) welcome the news that the state Legislative Assembly will be dissolved on April 11.

Its secretary general George Lo said they were now full of enthusiasm to campaign as part of Chief Minister Tan Seri Adenan Satem's team.here today.

"UPP is confident that it will deliver to BN whichever seats that will be allocated to it with the support of its grassroot members and leaders throughout its 26 branches statewide.

"We also call on corporate leaders who contribute so generously to the UPP Education Fund to come together and work hard with the party in delivering a resounding victory to Adenan's team," he said in a statement here Thursday.

Lo said all Sarawakians should support and endorse the chief minister in a number of his great impact initiatives.

He said the Chinese community should also support Adenan and his team because of his support for Chinese education and recognition of the Unified Examination Certificate or UEC. BERNAMA
